Imodium Instant Tablets provide instant relief from diarrhoea by restoring your bowel to its normal rhythm, helping to restore the absorption of more fluids into your body to stop you from becoming dehydrated.

Slowing down your bowel movements will mean you need to go to the toilet less, which can be convenient, especially if you have a long journey to make.

Imodium Instants are used for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and are not a substitute rehydration therapy. Always ensure you maintain adequate fluid intake and where possible use products like Dioralyte Sachets.

Dosage: 
Acute diarrhoea: 12 years and over: 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after every loose stool. The usual dose is 3-4 tablets per day. Maximum of 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Under 12 years: not to be given. Acute episodes of diarrhoea associated with IBS in adults aged 18 years and over: 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after every loose stool. Maximum of 6 tablets in 24 hours. Under 18 years: not to be given.
