Rio Premier Redfish Xp Fly Line

Designed specifically to target Redfish with ultra-slick performance The Redfish XP is designed specifically with extra power in mind for the larger fish and flies typical of gulf redfishing. The line features a short front taper, turning over large mullet and baitfish patterns, while the short, easy casting head effectively loads the rod at close range. Lines are built with medium-stiff cores and hard coatings that perform well throughout the range of temperatures encountered while targeting redfish.

This line is built with SlickCast, creating the slickest, most durable coating on the market—producing the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line. That means when casting, lines with SlickCast will cast farther than similar lines made without it. You will love the slickness on your first cast, and you’ll be amazed by the slickness after numerous days on the water. Extra distance comes with ease along with extended drag-free drifts as you notice SlickCast lines slip effortlessly through your rod guides. Slickening agents constantly migrate to the exterior surface so you can trust your SlickCast line to be as slick next season as the day you bought it.

Not only does it outcast, but it also outlasts other fly lines. The SlickCast formulae provides for the toughest and most durable fly line coating in the world and blasts off the charts when tested for abrasion and cracking resistance. Lab tests show that a line built with SlickCast lasts 140% longer than the nearest competitor in abrasion testing and lasts 33% longer when tested for cracking.
